Upcoming changes to workplace laws

Whether you’re preparing to shut down or approaching your busiest time of the year, there are upcoming changes to the Fair Work Act you need to know about:

From 30 December 2023, employees can authorise salary deductions made by their employer that are recurring and for amounts that vary from time to time.
From 1 January 2024, the National Employment Standards (NES) will include a right to superannuation contributions.
